Over the past 3 weeks, we have been celebrating students who are being first grade leaders in our class. Every week one student from each kindergarten and first grade class is recognized during our Shining Light ceremony for letting their light shine that week. I would like to take a second to recognize the 3 students from our class who have earned the Shining Light Award so far this year.
Ja'leel was awarded the Shining Light for being a first grade leader. He did an awesome job following directions and helping friends make good choices the first week of school.
Karmello was awarded the Shining Light for always working hard and doing his best. He is new to our class this year and has had a lot to learn, but he's always putting his best foot forward. I'm so proud of all the learning Karmello has done already!
Ariel was awarded the Shining Light for being a first grade leader as well. She is always in the front of our line and makes sure to set a good example for the rest of the class. Ariel is always making good choices and being a great helper!
